The listing, Legends Echo presents Genuine Native-made Beaded Earrings has ended.

These earring were made for me a while back by an Ojibwe friend of mine. He's from the reservation up north, but was living here in Minneapolis when he made these. I used to have my Native friends make them for me before I learned to make them myself.
I was surprised to find them in my supplies (the remaining one of two pair) - they have never been worn and are still technically 'new'. Now, they're ready to go to a good home.

Thank you, Imae. The town was/is Red Lake. He traveled a lot and told me he goes to San Francisco and sells some of his earrings for $45. He wouldn't teach me how to make them (I was a good customer) so I learned on my own. I don't make too many beaded earrings anymore because after years of doing it, it makes my hands cramp up. Now I make Rich Gypsy earrings (my own creation and brand) - the work is still ornate, but it involves tools, not a needle and thread.
