Up for bid is a 1971 postmarked First Day of Issue from Avery Island, LA postcard with the Wildlife Conservation 8¢ Trout Stamp attached. This makes it a Maximum Card, which is collected more in foreign countries than the USA.A Maximum Card had the stamp attached to a corresponding postcard, and they are tied together with the postmark.
This one was in a large collection I purchased a long while back, and most were traded away. This one got stuck in with my regular postcards, and I have just now rescued it!
So it's a cross collectible for those who collect Maximum Cards and those who collect postcards! Smoke-free home.
