Description

The listing, *** Purple Heart Wandering Jew Clippings *** has ended.

This auction is for TWO clippings from my Purple Heart Wandering Jew plants.

I don't often list this particular variety, and I'm glad to be able to offer it now, as I know a lot of people like to collect ALL of the Wandering Jew varieties, and I hope to be able to help by listing as many varieties as I can : )

The clippings will come from my mother plants, pictured, and will be packaged wrapped in damp paper, plastic, newspaper, and sent priority mail, to ensure their safe arrival to their new home : )

If there are any questions, please ask.

As always, thanks for looking : )

Thank you, Lynn, as always : )
You are quite lucky to be able to use your Purple Heart plants as a border, and have them come back year after year. I live in Northern Nevada, and I have to bring all of my plants inside, from late September until mid April!! We have Looooong, cold winters. I don't really mind, though. I love having my plants inside. They fill up every room in my house : )

how long are the cuttings, I got some and they arrived with the leaves falling off, I think if the cuttings were longer they would have survived..
thank you.

You are right about the clippings not being able to survive if they are not long enough. I have found that the larger the leaves, and thicker the stems, the longer the clippings should be. I don't know how scientifically correct that is, but it works for me : ) I send my Purple Heart clippings at 6-8 inches. Thanks for asking!

thank you.. I know this will grow with great speed but the ones I got from another seller were dead.
I will bid with you and thank you...I wish the longest and thickest clippings please..
I am in california and our weather is aout 98 degrees a day lately.
I am worried that will kill them in transit.. but think I will try you.. You seem to know what you are talking about.
thank you

Than YOU for that vote of confidence! I always mail my plants out on Fridays, and they are usually at their new home by Monday. They spend all weekend traveling, and don't end up being held up at a post office somewhere for the weekend. This is the best way I have found to ensure a quick and safe delivery to the new owner : )
