It says on the inside its surgical S Steel. Nice ring but nor silver.

Silver colored or toned. Surgical steel is nice too. Doesnt tarnish. Either way, its a pretty nice ring for the price, I think.

Big difference in value of steel versus silver. Either way, that's a big difference. Silver, you see, along with gold, platinum is a precious metal, used quite often for making jewelery, whereas steel isn't so much. Even if it is "surgical" steel, it's value is a fraction of a percent the value of equivalent amount of silver.
