Description
The listing, Wild Sunflowers Seeds from Plains of Colorado has ended.
These sunflowers grow wild on the high plains of eastern Colorado and in my yard. They grow up to approx 3' tall and reseed freely...very freely. So make sure you put them where they can travel. They tolerate dry soil. These grow in my xeriscape area and get no extra water from me.
You will get a full, dried seed head a little more than 2" across and another with about half the seeds remaining before the birds got them all. I will also throw in a red yucca seed pod for your dry garden area.
Questions & Comments
FYI, the birds LOVE these seeds. When I pull in the driveway, the little birds are all over these and fly away in a hurry. Of course, they come back as soon as I'm gone. And the goldfinches pay them a visit on their Fall migration.
