The listing, Alexander Backer Angel Wall Hanging has ended.

This is an antique Alexander Backer plaster angel, and he's so precious! There are worn spots on him, but anything of significance can't be seen when you hang him up, except it kinda looks like there might be some wear in his eyes and mouth. I have to look at him close to see it. On the back is a written note. It would probably come off easily, but I've left it on there. It reads: "Gift from Grandma and Grandpa Meeker's 50th Anniversary, Aug. 20 - 1961. He measures about 7 3/4" high.

Is that a dark green detailing on the sash? I can't tell very well from the picture.

No, that's actually more of a gold color. Though there is a light green tint in places on him. Not so much on his actual body, but on his hair, wings, and whatever he's carrying, and a little on the sash. I don't know if that's from age, or if it was originally like that.
