how well es it work in high winds? I live on the foot of a mountain and in the desert so the wind coming off the mountain hits very little resistance.....

Not sure about high winds!!! But you made me laugh a little!!! The only thing I know that works well with high winds is a baseball cap!!! This stuff is light but holds good and feel natural not stiff. I wear it in my hair and we live near the beach so, lots of wind. It seams to do the trick for me!!!! Try it!!!
