They used to be straight rows and that pleased my OCD. The more auctions I have, the more crooked the rows are because they were packed in it tight keeping the straight. lol I'm getting a little anxiety attack every time I take more out and they get more messy!! I have OCD really bad when it comes to stuff like this.
I bought all of them at an estate sale and I have used some maybe 3 or 4 different times to sew something up with needle and thread but not embroidery....well, i take that back. I did START a thing on a pillow case for my Dad in memory of my Mama but didn't finish it :( I could not possibly use all of this in the rest of my life. I will have a few left when I'm done with auctions and that will be enough.
Yes hopefully I will. (My Dad lives with me now and I'm his caregiver so it would be nice to finish it... His Birthday is the end of Sept. ??? maybe I should get started - I mean finished!!!)
well I don't ever have an hour at one time...my Dad has Parkinson's and needs help getting up every few minutes (to the restroom) and all through the night but a couple minutes here and there might get it done..
You have your hands full then. My sister is 72 & came to live with me last year after my husband passed away cos she has Parkinson's too. She walks really slow which sometimes annoys me when we're out. She doesn't have the tremors tho just everything else. It is a challenge for us as much as them. My sister wants to move into an assisted living place cos she says she's ruining my life. I'm too young to have to take care of somebody again. Do you have help?
I am 57 divorced and my only son has always lived with me but is moving out about 5 1/2 hrs away to go back to school. I have had caregivers but for here and there but have had to let them go for different reasons --- in the last year 3 that were friends ---- lol I'm trying to find someone now because it is really wearing me out. He is up sometimes literally every 15 - 20 minutes day and nite and I have to escort him and help him to the restroom. Dad is 79.
