This is a very pretty kate spade handbag in violet and black. It has 1 huge inner compartment with a zip pocket and a charming red checkered lining.

It does have some dirty signs of use, could use a bit of cleaning. I was going to try and clean but I didn't want to mess it up.

The fabric is in excellent condition though.

No rub marks on the corners.

I got this on Listia for my daughter but she didn't want it, so I am hoping to find someone to give it a good home.

We are a smoke free home.

Is there a tag inside? There should be a tag right on the inside side of the bag if it's genuine kate spade. I own a handbag store so I authenticate all the time. I'm only asking because I got a bag on listia supposed to be kate spade and when I him got it it was clearly a replica bag - so now I make sure I see the markings before I bid. So if you could post pict of tag inside I will def bid thanks

It has a spot where a tag was removed. I am sorry for the delay in replies. I have been working double but I will take and add pic when I get home. It has a canvas feel. I am not sure. I am no expert on kate spade items. I bought it from someone on Listia.

Has it been authenticated ? There is a purse forum that will do it for free - based on what I see the lining appears to be incorrect for that style bag and since you got it from someone on here and didn't purchase yourself - it prob is a good idea to authenticate. I got a fake one on here and got a full refund and I felt so bad because seller thought it was real and had got it on here and she list the postage the credits and the bag because I was told to destroy it. I just don't want to see nice honest people lose money (seller). I always bring used bags to the store and ask how much to clean /fix bag and that's when they will tell if fake cause they won't work on fake bags - then they give u the 3 rd degree on where u got it etc because illegal to sell replicas
