Questions & Comments
All $2.00 bills can be listed for auction because they have all been taken out of circulation, and I just want to say WOW not just a $2 American Red seal but also a star note if this was in much better condition I am sure you could get close to 100k for it , Very cool note and I collect American $2 dollar bills :)
Actually, $2 bills are still in circulation. The rules for listing them are they have to be 1976 series or older, OR be a star note. Any $2 bill listed can't be of a series that is still in circulation such as 2003, 2003A, 2009, and 2013. Some that are listed with those years sometimes slip through, but I have seen if they are 1976 series or older, they can be listed. (or if are a star note) A star note indicates the the serial number was re-used, but they replaced one number with a star, and is not in circulation.
I was wondering if you knew the rules of listing $2? I have some I want to list but I wasn't sure what kinds are allowed? Is it from a certain year? Or are all of them allowed to be listed?
