Hi, You buy the solid charcoal sticks that come in a pack light them and place them inside this. It warms for almost four to six hours. They are super handy to have. Look for solid fuel hand warmer..Blessings & Joy always~~~

I'm sorry I don't have it. I knew the small hand warmers did but I didn't know the larger ones like this one had them also. This is how I received it

You must have large pockets because this is 8" long and 5" wide. Maybe they came in different sizes.

Laughing on the pockets, no they are regular size pockets. Yours is for a sleeping bag not pockets..lol. They come in standard sizes for different uses..I thought of the Jolly Green Giant when you mentioned the size..lol
