This is a REAL 14k gold plated heart shaped pendant with small but REAL diamond chips around the edges. There are 20 diamonds in all!!! The pictures aren't the best (they were taken with my phone) but when my batteries for my camera finish charging i will post more and better pictures! happy bidding!!!

is it sterling silver under the plated gold?

i'm sorry. Honestly, they are so tiny i can't make them out. They are there but the onlt way to read them is with some magnification. The only way i know it says that it is gold plated is I tried to sell it for scrap gold recently and they told me it wasn't pure gold it was just 14k gold plated but they also confirmed that the diamonds are real. I hope this helps some. I really wish i could read the markings so you guys would be able to know more about it :(
