This auction is for TWO Blackberry Pearl Flip 8230 smart phones. One black and one Pink. Neither one will come on. The pink one, i didn't put on the charger one evening before it completely died and it hasn't come back on since. Tried another battery that i had but still nothing. The black one worked fine until i quit using it because i got a new phone. Put it in a drawer and now it does the same as the pink one. :/ Other than the color they are identical! If someone you can get them working they would make great his and hers phones :) the charging ports are mini usb and they will hold memory chips. but i don't have any to go with this auction, sorry! I was told recently that it's a common problem and can probably be fixed by restoring the operating system and that i could find instructions online. I haven't checked into it though because i got a new phone. when you put a battery in them the red led light will come on for a while then go off then come on and so on and last time i tried to get them to work, i put it on the charger and it showed charging but after a while it would try to turn itself on and would not have enough power (or so it seemed) to boot up completely so it drained and shut down and started over with the red light. don't know if that helps anyone but it might give a better idea what the problem might be if you know anything about this sort of stuff ( and i don't)
