The listing, Age of Empires (1997 CD-Rom) has ended.

This is a Microsoft Age of Empires CD-Rom which says on it that it's designed to work with Windows 95/NT. It lists a part number on it of X03-61184 235493. It says that it is supposed to be distributed with a new PC; and, when I text installed it on my Windows testing PC it didn't ask for a key code to install it.

This comes with the Age of Empires Expansion, The Rise of Rome, CD-Rom. The part number on it is X03-79210.

Will it run on windows xp?

I stalled it on XP, to see if it required a key, and it ran; so, tentatively, I would say it will. Because I only installed it as far as the menu, to see if it asked for a key, and didn't try to play the game itself. P.S., When I installed it, it didn't ask for a key, by the way.
