Description

The listing, Native American statues; Thanksgiving; cow inoculation stuff, plastic disks and more!!!! has ended.

My husband brought home the box of stuff I'm auctioning off. I washed all the pieces, but don't ask me why he brought them home which such excitement in his voice, because I don't know. . .

My only conclusion is that he has lost his mind. Feel free to tell me what your analysis is.

My listing had too many words so you will have to read the COMMENTS below for the individual descriptions of each of these items.
*Purple Candle, shaped like an ornament;
*19 Round, Flat plastic things;
*10 Plastic things that look almost like trophies or like you could screw a lightbulb into them;
* 3 Native American statues - perfect for Thanksgiving;
*A very nice, perfect condition wiseman statue;
*A headless lady statue.

For every person that bids, I will add another thing he has brought me that I don't use.

Adding: a resin baby buggy; a baby that was stuck in the buggy with what I think was candy, but it's out now and washed off; a colonial lady statue with part of her hardened ribbon broken off; and two resin babies on pillows. (See photos)

They won't let me add any more photos! But I've added the following: a Red Hat Pin NIP; a vintage felt santa face on something that's lost its elasticity; a hankie with pink and green embroidered flowers <-- very nice; a hankie with a very light blue flower embroidered on it. All edges finished on both hankies.

Ha, ha! This is a new thing he's doing. Not sure if it will continue, but we now have a bench outside our door with a crudely painted: "For E.Arnold's __________" The last part is sloppily painted out! Yeah. He knows better than to bring home 8-tracks. . .

To whomever wins: I hope you will consider letting me throw out the heavy purple candle and substitute it with a nicer one. I have a leaf candle that is MUCH nicer than that purple one. . .

NOTE: The chip on the colonial lady is pictured (see the bottom portion of the photo of her) and the baby has a white spot of paint on its head. I thought it was worn-off paint, but it's not. Baby could use a good bath.

*The last part of this lot is a headless lady statue. Ah - and you thought your husband was unromantic. . . Yes, a headless lady. Now the good thing is that as I washed her, I filled the neck hole with water, it made a really cool sound when turned upside down and emptied. Also, it would be cool to put a Frankenstein head on it in lieu of her own head, which, as I mentioned before, is missing.

Regardless, this lot proves your husband is not an idiot.
I'm still not sure about mine.

*A very nice, perfect condition wiseman (something my husband isn’t) in cream-color ceramic. He holds a box – and his feet are HUGE! He is very nice, but on the bottom is a sticker that says, “Colonial Candle TAIWAN” which, of course, means he was part of something else. That something else is missing. Who would want a wiseman on a candle? !

* 3 Native American statues. Heavy resin, nicely painted & detailed, they all have that far-away look in their eyes as if they heard something above them . . . a falling rock?
*One holds a red pot - her fringe is slightly chipped on one side.
*Another holds something that's broken off (put whatever you want in her hand. I can think of some funny stuff! Does anyone have a tiny Lady Liberty torch?)
*The last is a couple. The boy is sitting on a stone fence and holds an apple behind his back. She is holding flowers. The apple has some scratches that look like -- I swear, a smile face!
Both the latter have the tip of their feathers broken off, but it's not really noticable until you look close.
Honestly, these would make a cute Thanksgiving display!

*10 plastic Prima Tech BMV accessories. Not sure which model, but they have something to do with inoculating cows. [I know, romantic, isn't it?]

*Nine pieces of plastic things:
- 1 purple
- 8 red
- 10 white, one is missing a spoke
These are round; w/16 curved spokes w/sm.protuding spikes; tiny holes where the spikes are (see pic); will spin manually if turned upside-down. They don't fit into each other. I have no idea what they are. About 4" across. Imagine my surprise, "Oh, honey! Plastic thingies! Lots of them!"
