You are bidding on a childhood favorite...Falling Up by Shel Silversein!!! I have had this book a little over a year but have never opened it. I grabbed it at a bookstore, with childhood memories flooding back in.

I have decided to auction it off for someone who will enjoy it. Maybe read to children, or if you are like me, just want to revisit childhood memories.

When I started to open it just to take two inside pictures you can still hear that new "creak" sound. The book has yet to be opened fully. I consider it in Perfect condition. I bought it and it went straight to the bookshelf.

DID YOU KNOW THAT....
Silverstein was a soldier in the U.S. Army in Japan and Korea in the '50s and drew cartoons for Stars and Stripes, the American military publication.

Silverstein wrote several songs. His country-western song "A Boy Named Sue" was a hit for Johnny Cash in 1969. His song for Postcards From the Edge, "I'm Checkin' Out," was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.

This book will be a treat for any home, for young and old!!! I also have "The Giving Tree" I plan on listing.
