Up for auction is this sweet sterling silver filled ring size 9, stamped 925. The oval angel pink opal is fascinating. Twenty-six frozen round cut white topaz surround the main stone. Opal is the birthstone of October and topaz is that of November. The stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
