Staghorn Sumac* seeds (Rhus typhina), a deciduous shrub/small tree related to the cashew family. The yellow-green flowers are unremarkable, but the fruit is edible (and remains on the branches throughout Winter), and its real appeal is in its awesome, almost glowing Autumn colors. The sumac is popular with survivalists for its many uses, the most appealing is the lemonade that can be made of its berries. Native Americans also used to to make a cough syrup from this Sumac.5 medium-sized seeds.
