I would say yes. It doesn't really say it is but it has book one on the front. And when I looked thru it, It starts with notes on keyboard, where to place your fingers and simple practices. Thanks for looking at my auctions. Fanned you

Yes I think it would help you out. I can't read a note, I play be ear but it did help me get my chords right.
