Don't forget media mail. I swap books via swap.com and one can get very good rates on media mail. One could put them into a regular box and see what the cost of media mail is. Just an idea.

How much to 19611? Will they fit into a medium flat rate box? That will only cost about $12. Or a large flat rate box will cost $15. If you are shipping parcel, maybe you can give us your zip code and we can figure it out? 7 hardback books are heavy so flat rate will be your best bet. Also can we have a pic of the books to make sure this is legit? Thanks for sharing!

I posted a picture. See note under picture. They will not fit in a large flat rate box. My zipcode is 35125 if y'all want to see how much parcel shipping would be. I'm planning a wedding and a deployment right now so I dont have much time. I will try to find a flat rate box that they will fit in but I doubt they have one. lol

I did the calculations and media mail is the best route. Even with the weight (I don't know how much they weigh so I put 5 lbs) parcel post charges $10 whereas media mail charges only $4. So even if they weigh a lot they're still books so you can send them as media mail and the price will be really cheap.

From the weight at my local post office one of the books itself is 5lbs. They are some really heavy books. I am going to the post office later to see how much postage will be but first I have to find a box big enough for them to go in. Sorry its taken so long but I'm planning a wedding, expecting a baby and getting ready for my soon to be husband to deploy and havent had the time. I will go today and find out exact postage. Thanks.
