here is a 7inch tablet that i won on here but have not had the time to really play with.
the screen want go past the android logo. the logo stays on the screen for a few seconds then the screen die.
the power and volume buttons are missing but they are still functional.

Wow, the reset instructions are complex. Maybe thats why you have had such a different time.

Anyway here are the instructions that I found: Steps 1) Power down your tablet. 2) Tap the power-on button and volume down button at the same time 3) Tap and hold the power-on and volume down buttons until you see the android alien icon 4) tap the power-on and volume up again at the same time until you see the System recovery menu. Android System recovery menu Volume up/down to move highlight; power button to select. Options are below reboot system now apply update from /sdcard wipe data/factory reset wipe cache partition recovery system from backup update image from /sdcard select (wipe data/factory reset) pushing the power button to select it and restart the device

That didn't work neither. When you say tap you mean real quick movements correct

About half a second. If you do it too fast it might not register.

Hey the first thing that pop up on the screen is the dragon touch logo. It stays up there for bout 25-35 sec. Then the android logo appears and does the samething. But whats puzzling me is that the system acts like the key combination im doing is not hindering it at all

So when u say tap the power and the up volume.thats tap for a sec or two and let go right. Well i tap and tap and never see the system recovery screen. Nor any other screen besides the home screen and the message... System UI HAS STOPPED WORKING AND SORRY LAUNCHER HAS STOPPED. AN IT WANT LET ME INTO THE PHONE AT ALL
