Am guessing one can call these 'trading cards'

finding out there were several companies that produced these - calling them different things.

Seemed to be popular in the 20's and 30's

"Picture Talks for Little Ones"

These came out quarterly - cost 16 cents a year.

they're bout the size of a baseball/sports trading card.

sorry - not home to give you exact measurements but pretty close to a sports card
