Well-drained soil is essential, otherwise the foliage will yellow.

I've tried soooooooooooo many times to grow lavender. In a pot inside, in a pot outside and in the garden outside and it always dies on me :( does lavender not like the desert or does it just hate me? I've tried the lime and nope. I love lavender it's my favorite plant and herb lol
