I got a bunch of these watches in a storage unit I bought. I sold some at a yard sale and one on eBay. I found this site and thought the idea was kind of cool with the point system. I will take your advice and take off the shipping fee. I know you said that you wanted to bid on this. On the band there is a small nick in the leather. Take a close look. It looks like it might be from the band that has been holding the watch in while It was sitting in storage for who knows how long.

Are you asking for money? I dont seem to read anything on here that mentions money. I see free shipping though.

I'm glad you did not take the rant DannyHoush too personally. Those of us who have been on Listia for awhile have all been burned a time or two....... and, ironically, sometime WE are the ones who end up with negative feedback. LOL. But we all start somewhere. I appreciate that most every site member has either a tight budget of time and/or money. I offer free shipping for a number of reasons. Most of all, bids tend to go higher and I don't like the hassle of waiting for payment through paypal (I don't work with cash or check. They're just not secure enough). Your item is exceptionally nice and that makes many skeptical. Nevertheless, I see no reason why you should not recoup your expenses for shipping and handling, as long as they are reasonable.
There are many who "forrage" for credits without listing their own auctions or scam the system in some other way. Those are the ones to be weary of. They will not bid on auctions where they have to pay out of pocket, but serious collectors and those who appreciate the item will.

That's cool. I'm just happy to have found this site. Once this item goes I will be listing more watches. Right now I'm dealing with a death in my family so I will not be able to list the others until the end of the week. I appreciate all of the feedback good or bad because I want to use this site correctly and honestly. Please note the watch band does have a small nick in the leather band that you can see well in the second picture. It appears like it was initially held in the tin with some sort of band that was the culprit. Please give me all the feedback that you all can so that I can be successful on this site.
