2x2 flick carder for combing mohair or long staple wools like Border Leicester.

It will take me a few days to get to the post office as five of my eight children are still at home and of school age and I'm homeschooling the four youngest boys.

A flick carder is for combing thru longer staple fibers. It's used a bit differently. Here's a link that will give you an idea on the different ways to card and how a flick carder is used. I have rheumatoid arthritis and it affects my hands most severely so two of my boys will hold the staple for me while I "flick." Teamwork!

HOLY COW PIES! I just found a WHOLE bag of fibres in a garbage bag I thought was storing my winter comforter. As soon as i get everything shipped I'll be listing most of them. They are SOOOOO nice and a few I'll be keeping for "special projects."
