This is not very old
Maybe 1 month, I sold my freezer so I am selling this unit , I had it mound to my freezer but the Velcro wasn't any good anymore
It is backlit and very accurate
Again I used it for my freezer
But you can use it in windows too
Brand is : Springfield Precisetemp
Was approx $39
Like new
It will not come with a battery however
