This is one of a collection of Franklin Mint porcelain Children of the U.N. (United Nations) I will be listing.

He is George from Trinidad and Tobago - and he is wonderful – there are so many things to look at and to wonder about . . . he’s so alive-looking! He’s clearly looking up at someone over his left shoulder and I wonder who it is and why. He's in the middle of a dynamite drum solo, I think. From the back view, you an see that the drum on his left is resting on a turtle. The drum on his right has "UN" on it. He is from 1980 (almost a quarter of a century old!!!) and is in superb condition.

George, his drums, the turtle, and the beach they are on is approximately 4 7/8" tall and the base is approximately 4 3/8" wide and 3 1/2" deep.
