Very cool auction!!! My son just started getting into calligraphy & I would absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to get this for him! 1 Question tho How old is it? I just wanna know if its gonna be dried up? NEW FAN! WATCHING!!

This set is over 10 years old. As for drying out, the pen & nibs are in excellent shape. I've added additional pics. The ink cartridges are old & there is some evaporation. It's very easy to find these cartridges online, Walmart, office supply stores or art stores.

How used is it and have the nibs been cleaned?

The only nib that was used is the fine nib on the right. It has been well cleaned but there always is some residual ink in the nib. It is in excellent condition...barely used. I'm uploading more pics

learned calligraphy in '81 (when we did it the old fashioned way!). nice little handy set, will be watching!

I did too! This is a more convenient way to do it without constant re-inking plus it's definitely more portable! Good luck!

There is a small sheet of instructions for the pen itself. I'll include some calligraphy instructions with this.
