This is a rare solid sterling handmade artisan earrings with the initials ZAC. According to "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade & Hallmarks" by Billie Hougart, ZAC stands for Centro Platero de Zacatecas, which is a silver school in Zacatecas, Mexico, a city founded in 1548 upon the discovery of silver. It's a city off the beaten tourist path. It also has a hallmark that is pictured that is the mark of the school.. Presumably, it was created by Artist #01, which also makes this a very interesting piece. Weight 14grams 925 Sterling silver
