This is a Bowie knife modeled after "Carson's Raiders" of World War II fame. It was meant to be an all around knife to hack thru the jungle then kill the enemy hiding in it. It has a shallow clip point for stabbing penetration and a good deal of weight behind for hacking up what ever is in front of it. This knife was produced in 420 tool steel to give it the best of two worlds, it will maintain a good edge but it is very easy to sharpen. Use's a full tang w/ a good hard wood handle and three(3) brass rivets to hold it on. Double blood grooves custom tooled into the blade.
