The listing, 2 Forever "Civil War" Commemoratives has ended.
Issued in 2012 to commemorate the 150th anniversity of the War for Southern Independence. The army of the CSA was heavily outnumbered in the two battles commemorated from 1862: New Orleans (naval siege) 15,000 to 4,500; and Antietam 75,316 to 40,000. Antietam was pure carnage with over 26,000 killed. With over 3 times the population of the CSA, the USA could absorb the loss of life more easily. The war became one of attrition. The sheet will be folded carefully and sent in a long envelope via USPS.
