I would love to have this because I've played violin since I was 10 years old and I'm nearly 24 and the auction ends 2 days before my 24th bday so it would be a birthday present for myself lol

Welcome to Listia, I see your just getting started! There are a lot of great people here and auctioning a lot of great things! It takes a little while to get going, but you'll be doing great in no time at all! Stick with it you'll be glad you did! You need to get verified first and it doesn't take long to do that. Fantastic auction, you never disappoint!! Any chance you will list a Cello in the near future? Been looking for one for my little sister, she is part of the Houston Youth Symphony and needs a Cello of her own to practice at home. Thanks for any consideration :)

You are very welcome and once again I appreciate it very much! I am really not doing much! If I were able to do it without receiving something in return then I would really feel more deserving of appreciation! Anyway, I can do a little bit and it makes me feel good just to do what I can! Thanks again! :)

Do you know the maker of the violin?

I am not for certain. I ordered it online through Walmart. There was nothing on the shipping invoices that tells where it came from. But on the outside box in which it was shipped in has Kona guitar Company Violin Starter Pack so I am assuming maybe they are the manufacturer of it. I hope that helps , Thanks for asking I appreciate it!

It sounds like the loose thing is a little stick (like a small dowel ) that holds up one side on the inside , but you need this to be put back in place(some stores can do it. If it's done wrong it can pop the violin apart! I think it's called a soundpeg or something like that. The violin must have it or the top can cave in.Since it is out , you might want to leave it out. they can fall during shipping, anyways. Here's a link.https://cooldiscountinstruments.com/index.php/tutorials/orchestral-strings-info/how-to-fix-a-fallen-sound-post-on-violin

Thank you so much for your help! I know nothing at all about violins! This is the first one I have ever bought or seen up close! I wasn't sure but I knew for certain there wasn't anything damaged or missing on the outside of it. There is not a music store in the area where I live. I would have to drive at least 50 miles to get to one. So I guess I will just have to let it go the way it is. I know nothing about them and I am afraid I will make matters worse if I tamper with it! Thanks again for your help I really appreciate it very much! :)

I need another extra violin as my daughter and I both play. It is nice to have extras if one is in for repair.
Would you consider shipping to Canada ?
