This is a very light weight, nylon, sleeping bag type of small dog bed. I think it'd be great for a long haired small dog as my Chih.'s don't seem to like it(don't use it). It would help keep your pet cool and would be great for that little one that likes to burrow. Machine wash-warm-cool and lay out to dry(dries fast). It is 26" L x 22" W x 3" thick, has some stuffing, but not all the way thru. Also has Velcro tabs that open and can make it 2x as big(I've never use them). This would also be GREAT for your couch, bed, or chair your pet likes to lay on, but you don't want their hair all over, and can easily be moved around. I 've found NO tears or rips.
