The poster is a replica of the original 1977 fight poster promoting Shavers' boxing match vs. Muhammad Ali at Madison Square Garden in New York. The autograph is AUTHENTIC underneath Shavers' image on the poster. Shavers was nicknamed "The Black Destroyer" due to his extreme punching power. Shavers is considered to be one of the hardest punchers in heavyweight boxing history. Shavers fought for the world heavyweight championship twice. He challenged Muhammad Ali in 1977 and Larry Holmes in 1979.The hand-signed poster includes an official Earnie Shavers Hologram for autograph authenticity purposes.
