With the cat's eye line in the position of an equator there is an 'eye spot' on one cap of the orb. Appears in the photos as a dark spot, photo 3 here,
It acts like a binocular- magnifying the item under it. And in person it's a clear spot but the darker the color of the orb, the darker the spot looks- from afar. Up close it's appears as a clear magnifying glass.
Used intensively in her healing work to center energies, the eye grew. My friend does not have a great many of these..
