The listing, Antique Copper Cauldren Highly Etched Unknown Origin has ended.
hello and welcome to this free listing. this is most likely the single most amzing item i have listed to date and i have been busy here since i joined. what you are looking at is a antique copper cauldren that has been what i call highly decorated in the sense that it is highly etched in, i have looked other ones similiar to it and found a few literraly just a few that had etching on them, of those i did see they was nothing like this. it is etched from top to bottom and all the way around. it has a solid copper thick handle. now the colors on it elude me as to what coat is what on it. its solid copper you can see it clear in and outside of it. please see pictures i took full view 360 degree view if you go from pic to pic. but inside over the copper it has some type of silver looking coating, maybe like a lead color? under that you can see also in the pic its all copper under that coating. the outside is again strange and i am not exactly for sure the coatings over the copper. parts of it look like a shiny silver color, while other parts have like a metallic copper look. again please see all the photos, i am stressing this because the photos came out about right on color giving the fact all cameras can hide or not show colors perfectly. i am also at a loss as to where it comes from or what the designs on it are? the bottom is kinda bubbled, please see side bottom views. no gin because i have no idea where to set it at fairly to me since i have never been able to find another like it exactly. oh, the only thing that a magnet sticks to on it is the 2 steel hoops that hold the handle. they are steal horseshoe shaped and look to have copper rivets in it. you know what i am going to say! :-) yep :-) see the photos listed its there crystal clear. thanks folk for stopping by my listing. most importantly thanks for using listia folks, you all make this possible!! any question please ask. thank you :-)
