Alyssum is a low mounding plant that spreads to form a carpet of beautiful flowers that are very fragrant, They are great for rock gardens , boarders and containers. Very easy to grow with low maintanance that will come back year after year. You can save your seeds and have plenty for friends, neighbors and of course yourself. Store in a paper bag or envelope in a cool dark place.
Sow in a sunny location when all danger of frost has past. In the south, zone 7 down you can plant in the fall. They will come up but will not flower. After they winter over, you will have blooms in the spring.
