I found this unique beautiful lighter with a gorgeous b&w picture of our lovely Marilyn at an estate sale a few years ago & it never worked for me, it's not refillable as far as I can tell, but it's a wonderful rare piece to add to your Marilyn Monroe collection, if you are a true collector. If you aren't a true collector then this piece is probably not for you, you probably wouldn't know how to appreciate it. But that's just my opinion (:
