The listing, Lot of 2 RPPCs (Real Photo Postcard) CROSS-EYED Baby & Young Boy on a Chair has ended.

I herewith present to you two real photo postcards from the early 20th century. One features a baby who is cross-eyed and the other has a handsome young gent who is posing on a chair. Gotta love that funky wallpaper! Both cards have a lot of visual appeal, and it's very rare to find a photo of a child with a deformity. Neither card has been used postally, but there is writing on the back of the young gent's card which reads: Elmer H. Meadows, Age 4 yrs, Nov. 25, 1917 (during WWI!).

I have many, many, many tintype photographs, cabinet cards and RPPCs that I will be listing over the next few weeks (as well as other antique items). Please check my listings back often--you never know what you may find!

These two seem to be taken while they were alive. Wealthy families, I imagine. Just LOVE the pose on the right.

The boy on the chair is alive; I have another RPPC with him in it and he is moving and blurry. The baby I'm not so sure. I certainly have tintypes and other photos where the subjects look deceased. I will be listing some of them. I just love these photos!
