It depends on what network the phone uses.. in this case the G in "900G" indicates GSM, which is the kind of network that uses sim cards. That means that this phone will pick up an AT&T or T-Mobile signal in your area. If the phone had a "C" at the end of its model# then it would pick up Verizon. If it had "C-S" it would pick up Sprint. Those carriers are both CDMA and do not use sim cards. It all depends on what carrier works best where you live. For me, I use a Verizon network Straight Talk phone since it picks up the best. Straight Talk has agreements with all the major wireless carriers. On the matter of if you can just pop a sim card from another phone into this one- no, you can't do that. Straight Talk has them programmed to the phone. You will need to call them and order a new sim card that they pre-program. Customer service sucks so be forewarned! But hey, the service is so cheap I can stand poor service the few times I have to call.

No but an lg charger should fit it cuz on my other phone it worked

I just got this phone from their website the other day. It's pretty cool :) The only thing I have found so far I don't like is that the QR Reader apps don't work with this phone :( Other than that it is nice though :) Good luck with your auction :)
