The listing, Hawaiian Baby Woodrose ● 10 Count Seeds ● From Hawaii has ended.
AKA Elephant Creeper, Elephant Vine, Wooly Morning Glory
Distinctively furry, with leaves that when grown are heart-shaped, & have a velvety feel to them.
The trumpet shaped flower grows from the very tips & resembles the Common Morning Glory; the Hawaiian Baby Woodrose is usually about 2 inches big.
They tend to grow in clusters which makes it easier to spot them when growing wild in denser woods.
The HBW has a middle inside color (the heart) that is deeper violet than the rest of flower, which also helps distinguish it.
Can be considered invasive when allowed to grow unchecked in a warm climate but it is much prized when grown in private gardens or controlled environments for its aesthetic value — just to say it is very pretty to look at.
Said to be native to India but these days found anywhere warm or tropical & some people like to cultivate it indoors in hydroponic gardens or enclosed sealed pot environments as well.
