The Lemon Guava (Psidium guajava);is a form of Strawberry guava with bigger yellow fruit. It is similar to strawberry guava except fruits are often slightly larger (1-3”) taste is a little different and, flesh is yellow, and very fragrant. Small bush or tree to 2-25 feet with greenish gray to golden bark. Hardy to 22° when ull grown.

Trees grow well in full sun with ample water however, if you have freezes placing them in a pot and winter protection is necessary. It can tolerate short periods of drought, but a lot of water is needed during fruit development. We have more than 35 trees on our property all of whom were seed started and are producing YUM!!! My favorite kind of fruit to make Jelly from.

Germination: Harvested 2011 – these seed types have an annual germination rate of 97%.
