This type of Kokeshis used to be popular as souvenirs at sightseeing spots everywhere in Japan but now we seldom see them any more, even in Japan.
The legends behind kokeshi dolls are heartbreaking. I collected them for a while to give them loving homes, but now is the time to let them move on.
