The listing, Vintage Hand Made Clown Doll 1960s CREEPY has ended.

Wow! This is one creepy clown doll! I found this doll at my Aunt's house; it was in a bin of old things that were to be thrown away. I can't say as I blame her. She couldn't even remember where it came from! But as a lover of old, and odd things, I rescued the little clown and took it home with me. Unfortunately, my children are not fans of the little clown, and they have begged me to get rid of it. So here I sit, listing the clown on Listia where I know there are many other Listians who are also interested in the old and the odd. Maybe it can find a good home where it can be out in the open and not kept in a box in the basement or attic.

I think this clown doll dates to the 1960s or 70s. It looks to be handmade and done very well. It is 13" in length from the shoes to the tip of the hat, and 8" across from hand to hand. The fabric has yellowed some with age and it smells a bit musty. I don't know how my Aunt came to possess this doll, but I do know that it's time to pass it on. And just in time for Halloween...

My uncle was a carnie and we are doing an area for that, with a sideshow. Really want to come up with a good back story and scare the pants off of them! We run the parties like a haunted house!
