Description

The listing, 1968 THE SPECTACULAR SPIDERMAN #2 has ended.

Old comic... View images. Buyer pays ship. will be bagged and boarded.. Secured packaging. Free ship will not be available for items at this time.

I have been scammed to much trying to be kind so I will enforce payment for ship until future notice. i was just ripped off of a huge box of jewelry that I spent $14.50 shipping to the buyer and she claimed she never got the items... I lost money and valuable items I could have sold for cash some place else.

So from now on I will make sure I provide a track number to all auction for my protection. I will be more careful. Thanks to all that are bidding today.

I do not accept money orders or checks for ship cost. Only Paypal.....No international ship given. Open to US bidders only.

Looks like you are not having a good day, either of you. Jim, Jim Jimmy, you seem, at least to me, so very angry and justified. Can you not see that this is not your typical slime-ball, cheating and deceitful Lister. They inevidibly do not answer bidders' questions, offer opinion or post more a Monosyllabic replies. If you have learned to be so descerning about a Lister's integrity and value comic books so well, I would think you would have learned THIS, too.
Sister-Valor, If you believe that you stand righteous in this confrontation, then perhaps you should consider comtemplating on: Proverbs 25:21-22, Matt.22:37-40, Luke 16:19-31. Contemplating the Word, accepting what the Holy Spirit has to show us, taking good counsel and applying it to our given situation is always a GOOD thing; much better than taking what others say too personally, making vindictive accusations and demands. I might suggest that you try turning the other cheek, counting 7 x 70, or kicking the dust off your feet. I wish you all the best in resolving conflicts of faith and acquiring wisdom, My Sister.

@ jimblasko: you be real on listia. Do not bid if you are not interested. I am kind enough to allow you to come here and leave messages as you have. I could block every comment and ban and block you. But I am fair. But the slander will cease, And you will respect me and my page. I offer this item free, and you do not have to bid. Remember these are credits not cash you giving. And as for me being "real" i am the realist they come so please do not disrespect me or expect me to cuss you out because you wanna irritate me and provoke me to anger to say I am not who I say I am. I know just how your kind does it. And I am sick to my stomach of it. You be real. But as I said you are welcomed to say what you feel Just do not insult me doing that. Thank you.

Come on, folks, settle your s**t down. You're taking it all way too seriously. If you can't have fun with it or if it offends you....change the channel. The stated purpose of Listia is to get rid of things that you don't want in order to get things you do want...and all the while everything is FREE. All in all, the byword in any transaction is "Caveat emptor," or "Let the buyer beware." A second opinion, or third or fourth is always a good idea when "shopping" at Macy's, Amazon or on Listia.
Opinions are definately like as*h***s, everyone's got 'em. Best of luck, Woman-fried. As for the winner of your other auction, let it all go. It's all water under the bridge, it's over. I had a couple fellas, pull dirty tricks, and it cost me to learns. Folks that have been around here a while know that there are some things you absolutley help. Even though I left neutral feedback for these two guys, they left negative for me. Hey, it happens and it's all small stuff.

Empowermenthouse is a great handle here @ listia. Well can I agree with you on what you are saying, but also expound? I understand about letting go. I am a woman of God It is a requirement to do so. Being new it make a huge difference to have a good feedback. In many cases people will not trust you if you do not have one. I told this story not to bring up the "past", but to let them who buy from me know what is going on. My choice. And honestly I am rethinking Listia.. Since I have been here I have encountered the rudest and most arrogant folks I could meet. Thieves and liars and know it all's that seem to get a thrill out of "correcting" you because they assume they know Everything. I am tired of arrogant and pampas people ruining a great experience for others who really do come here to have fun. Like myself. I enjoy giving. But folk these days just do not know how to be good to each other, but when the One World government and global enslavement is finally put in place by our so called leaders. WE well all be looking for companionship and kindness and will need each other like never before. I have done my part. I have offered this comic. And who ever the winner is God bless you and I hope you get it restored and raise the value of this comic because raw in this condition you can sell it for about $35-40 retail . Ebay is not the only place to sell. One place being: www.Etsy.com
I have two accounts with Ebay. And been around with them for about 7 years.
I hope you all enjoy this listing and God bless you all.

I am not here to attack and I am still new at this also. Im only on my 2nd set of auctions. But a little thought from me.. Why offer FREE SHIPPING then in the description tell someone u are charging for shipping? I would see where they could b a dispute when this auction is over cause I thought Listia says not to offer Free Shipping when in fact u are trying to get shipping cost. I would say "FALSE" advertisement if ya ask me. But anyway, I want to say great auction item anyway.

eladder1, you are so right, Other thanglean out the stuff we don't want or need and acquiring things we think we do....... there is tremendous opportunity on Listia to learn LifeLessons about social interaction, effective communicationsm advertising, marketing....even geography. Next to Disneyland, it should be the Happisest Place on Earth. On second thought, Disneyland costs an arm and a leg now and Listia is FREEEEEEEE! That makes me happy.

i was heavy into comics in the early 1970's. This book was one of those strange oddities that was almost impossible to find. It has been reprinted here and there but it will be cool to own an odd piece of Marvel history

I have seen many "restored comics sell for higher premiums than they would have sold if they were in the horrible condition they were in before it was restored. Now I do not encourage anyone to restored their comics because of your point and mine, but in this case , this comic is not in the very best shape and my suggestion was that it can be restored. You have totally misinterpreted my point , but I thank you for your input... Also i am a CGC member; my handle is solomonschest I post regularly and know much about restoration. I have been collecting comic, antiques, and coins for years and know very much about these kinds of things. In fact I am a registered licensed dealer with the state of Louisiana and have done well for a while. I collect restored and original items . They sell fine. So please keep posting your comments. It gives me a chance to share my side too. Also keep in mind I an giving a free comic book away with free ship and giving advice on this particular comic book; not every comic book. This raw comic in this condition is worth about $35-$45.00 and restored $1,500-$2000. Low ball price would be $750. I have realized some people would say things like this to drive down the auction and make it where the credits be low and not be to high so those that really want it can get it for very low credits. Some just have no understanding. Some just need to be heard, Well, Jim I hear you loud and clear.. I will not hide your comic. I will just reply to it and ask that you keep posting and I thank you for stopping by. Everybody has some level of knowledge and my mind is wide open to listening to all points. Again Thanks for your commentary it is always welcomed here.

Great auction would be nice to own:) But it was wondering how this can be restored to a n/m condition 9.7 to n/m+ which is higher then 9.7?When you restore or alter a comic the grading and value actually goes down in the comic the comic world. If you have any info please let me know thanks:)

'It has been done. CGC chat boards will help myou with that. I have seen it happen. A 5.0 to a 9.5 and now the seller on ebay is selling the comic for a cool $23,000 buy it now, or best offer. This comic is not that bad. It just need a liitle love. I do not have that kind o money, but I have many pedigree comics that I will be sending to CGC very soon. I just bought an Amazing spider man #31 raw in excellent shape. I paid $46.00 for it and will be getting it graded. Wait for the turn around of about 20- 30 days to get it back. And then send it to Comiclink, ha, or hakes for sale among many others i will submit. My set graded will bring me a nice bit. So I am giving away the ones that I will need to restore unless they are rare and scarce. As for this comic it can be restored to a higher grade. I have seen it happen. If it is worth spending that much to get it done. I would. But i am not able right now to deal with it. I have two of these. The other has a better grade. I overstreet my comics. So this one would be in my modest opinion a 3.5- 5.0 with the damages at the edges. the comic pages are off white and no pages are frayed or torn. Vibrant color for age. worn only on the edges. The spine looks good, little reader ware , but nothing drastic. Just a cool comic for free... I hope you chose to bid. Thank you for you consideration. If you bid and win. Your a track number will be provided for you so we can keep track of this item and everything goes smooth. If you do not bid. Please come back again in the future. God bless you. I will try to find the link to that Ebay comic i was telling you about I will inbox you or list it here once i do. Thanks....

Please ignore the rating... i was taking advantage of by a buyer who took my items and opened a dispute to take her credits back. i lost my good rating of 100% and lost a huge box of nice valuable costume jewelry!!! how evil some people are when you try to do good. i am honest and giving , but it seems a fe people are trying to make it really hard for me here. but i hope you all are not going to weight this against me. i am really a nice person and love to share goodness to all.
