Great book! Provides great information concerning the type of sharks found off of South Carolina. Unfortunately, I don't have it in my hand at the moment but trust me; it is a nice book for reference on sharks. Now you know what type of shark may bite your bottom in the Atlantic as you bob along the coast of South Carolina. We used this book to help identify shark teeth we found.

My son, age 6, discovered this book at a local, family owned seafood restaurant among their items on hand to entertain kids. It has a wonderful table of contents with sharks listed alphabetically by their common name, with a sketch and the scientific name listed as well. With a brief explanation of how a TOC works, he was able to look up his favorite sharks and view illustrations of the sharks and their teeth.

Each entry consists of two pages, with a summary of known habits and physical information. My son loved the book so much, we decided to get a copy for home.
