I think when it was made, they should have used brown glaze. Then it would have looked like a tree stump.

There is a mark, (you can see it in the pic, to the left of the hole on the top rim) that was there when I got it. I am not sure what it was caused by, but is like a little grind mark. It does not go all the way threw and is just a scratching on the surface.
