I bought this phone here on listia thinking that it was not locked and that it was so that's why I'm listing it he said it was his wife's phone and didn't know the password.

It's not locked as you can see in one of the pictures it's a slide to set up

If it's icloud locked , which it is if it's asking for the previous apple ID and password, then there is absolutely no way around it. I tried for MONTHS, even paid for software that did not work. Lol. The previous owners wide won't give you her password n email?? That's the only way around it. Maybe apple will help, but the apple store near me wouldn't. :(

Yes it's basically iCloud locked he said he thought he knew the password but it didn't work and he said he has no way of contacting her for it.
