The directions are on the back,, it comes with a stick to rub the birds on.. The large bird measures around 3x4.5 inches and the other bird is 1.5x2 and the smallest birds are 1x1.5 inch It says decorate walls, mirrors,plastic, wood, candles, metal, paper, clay pots, ceramic, scrapbooks, photo albums, leather greeting cards and paper gift bags.. It doesn't say how long they last though..
