Great bell! Love the auction. And I don't mean any offense re: Cat Bell. Bells make cats deaf. If cats go outside w/o being able to hear, they have lost a big chunk of their defense. It makes them vulnerable to disaster. So, good fortune with your auction. I do collect bells and this is a nice one. Did you know students would bring bells to ball games to ring in victory. 30s-40s.
